Save the Date for the ICOWHI Women’s Health Conference
Please save the date for the International Council on Women’s Health Issues’ (ICOWHI) Conference being held from April 7, 2010 to April 10, 2010 here in Philadelphia. The aim of the conference, Cities and Women’s Health: Global Perspectives, is to identify and explore areas of urban planning and financing that are likely to promote women’s health. Experts in a variety of disciplines including urban design, health sciences, health policy, social policy, law, education, anthropology, and sociology will identify and critically analyze best practices and new strategies to enhance women’s health in urban places. The conference will take place at the University of Pennsylvania.
