Global Citizen invites applications for 2023 Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award
Global Citizen invites applications for the 2023 Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award.
Established by Cisco and Global Citizen in 2018, the award celebrates an individual aged 18 to 30 who has contributed meaningfully towards ending extreme poverty in their community through their leadership, dedication, and innovation. The award’s winner will receive a cash prize of $250,000 toward the organization they lead to enable its continued growth and support and mentorship from both Global Citizen and Cisco, including opportunities to leverage both organizations’ expertise, networks, and platforms. Candidates will be judged against five equally weighted criteria: impact, vision, catalyst, global citizenship, and technology innovation.
Applicants need not be a founder or CEO of an organization to apply. The award can go to anyone who has had an impact; it is all about showing leadership, dedication, and innovation.
For complete program guidelines, application instructions, and information about previous award recipients, see the Global Citizen website.
Deadline: January 20, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. PT
