Christopher D. Smithers Foundation – Alcoholism

Christopher D. Smithers Foundation?s mission is to educate the public regarding the fact that alcoholism is a treatable disease from which people can and do recover; encourage prevention programs, with an emphasis on high risk populations; and fight to reduce the stigma that is associated with the disease of alcoholism. The Foundation funds projects in the field of alcoholism prevention and education, including research, public education, and creating awareness of this issue in the nation’s work world. Eligible applicants include nonprofits and community-based organizations. There is no deadline for applications. For further information, go here.
