Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a dynamic, $7.5mm nonprofit, works to improve maternal and child health and well-being through the collaborative efforts of individuals, families, providers and communities.
MCC seeks two Advocates (one bilingual Spanish/English) for its Children’s Insurance Program which has the goal of enrolling 2000+ children annually in CHIP and Medicaid. The Advocates will conduct community outreach to identify and enroll individuals who are eligible for CHIP or Medicaid. High school degree required; college degree preferred. Candidates will be knowledgeable about maternal child health issues, CHIP and Medicaid. Excellent communication and organizational skills are desired. Will use organizational database and keep accurate records of all contacts and services provided. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
One of these positions will be working out of the Delaware County MOMobile site in Upper Darby and the other individual will be placed at the North Central MOMobile at Episcopal Hospital.
