Children’s First Virtual Briefing re: State Education Budget Proposal – May 14 or 15

Read by 4th is partnering with Children’s First to offer two identical briefing sessions. We’ll hear from Children’s First staff about their work to engage with Gov. Shapiro and state lawmakers to ensure increased funding for K-12 education. In particular, Gov. Shapiro’s proposed budget could mean an additional $230 million in funds directed toward the School District of Philadelphia. Join us to learn more about what’s being proposed, Children’s First advocacy efforts, and how you can get involved.
