Children’s Art Show: Art Needed
Posted by on April 30, 2007
When children experience art, they use their fingers, feet, crayons, create dinosaurs with clay or simply become a Picasso using whatever is available to them.
From the children’s art experiences and the importance of art being significant to the development of young children, comes the creation of the “Children’s Art Show,” where the children have the opportunity to show their awesome creations and expression of art to their family and friends.
We are looking for daycare providers to support this event by displaying their children’s art in the show. Save your children’s work and and mount in on poster board or card stock paper. When finished it can be picked up or dropped off at at Aggie’s Childcare, 1222 S. Edgewood Street, Philadelphia, PA. All artwork needs to be completed by Wednesday, May 16. To participate in the art show, please contact Verna Aggie, Director at 610-259-3258. The show will be held at:
Grace Tablernacle Christian Church
Banquet Hall
52nd & Greenway Avenue
Saturday, May 19, 1-3 PM
Please show support to the children! Show them that art is also important to you. This is a FREE community event. All are welcome to participate.
