Childcare Center Director, Federation Early Learning Services

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
- A demonstrated record of maintaining a positive, nurturing and educationally stimulating child care environment (for children six weeks – five years)
- A demonstrated record of facilitating open and continuous communication with team members and being readily available, receptive and responsive to them
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives (e.g. NAEYC accreditation, Keystone Stars and E2L)
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role in the implementation of Head Start programs
- A minimum of five years of progressively more responsible child care center management experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of all center operations
- Maintain a quality child care program which reflects the philosophy of Federation Early Learning
- Services and adheres to state and federal regulations
- Recruit, hire and orient staff
- Discipline and terminate staff in accordance with agency personnel practices procedures
- Supervise office, program, maintenance and kitchen staff
- Adhere to center budget
- We are participating in the TEACH Program
