Detwiler Family Foundation invites applications for efforts to support children
The Detwiler Family Foundation invests in local organizations to enrich and improve the lives of children and strives to serve children dealing with difficult life challenges by facilitating access to education and the arts.
The foundation invites applications for its grants program, which typically awards grants of between $5,000 and $50,000 in support of organizations that can demonstrate an impact on children dealing with issues such as health, welfare, security, and financial hardship. Organizations may apply for grants to support specific projects, programs, or capital campaigns that will enhance the organization’s ability to serve the children. Projects submitted may be stand-alone or joint efforts with other organizations.
Organizations must be in the Pennsylvania counties of Chester or Montgomery; Atlanta, Georgia; Flathead County, Montana, the Upper Valley Region in Vermont/New Hampshire; or Portland, Oregon.
Applicants must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) or 170(c) of the Internal Revenue Code and are classified as “not a private foundation” under section 509(a). Hospitals, educational institutions, and governmental institutions meeting these requirements also are eligible to apply.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Detwiler Family Foundation website.
Deadline: July 1, 2024
