Charter School seeking Student Teachers

STUDENT TEACHERS WELCOME!
Green Woods Charter School, located on the beautiful grounds of the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education in Roxborough, is embarking on a new and exciting curriculum design and implementation in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Our curriculum will be based on the highly researched and very successful EIC (Using the Environment as an Integrated Context) model (http://www.seer.org).
We are the only public or charter school in the entire country to be housed within a nature center. And, our unique and innovative approach to teaching and learning is one that we are more than willing to share.
Please contact me if you are interested in placing student teachers with us for the Fall or Spring semesters. We welcome the opportunity to share our unique environment as well as the knowledge and innovative teaching strategies of our amazing educators with our University partners.
