Charles Bronfman Prize invites nominations
Founded in 2004, the Charles Bronfman Prize recognizes young humanitarians whose work is grounded in their Jewish values and is of universal benefit to all people. The goal of the prize is to recognize dynamic leaders whose innovation and impact inspire the next generation.
The award of $100,000 is presented to a humanitarian under the age of 50 whose innovative work, fueled by their Jewish values, has significantly improved the world.
The prize invites nominations for individuals in all areas of humanitarian work across a broad spectrum of disciplines. Past recipients have distinguished themselves through their work in the fields of environment, genetics, humanitarian relief, human rights, medical education, public education, the economy, and storytelling to convey values across cultures. The prize seeks nominees who are next-generation leaders who have a vision for change that will significantly better the world, and who have created a mechanism for acting on that vision in ways that deliver measurable results.
Nominees must self-identify as Jewish, espousing Jewish values and demonstrating universal regard for humanity to inspire and serve as a model for future generations.
To be eligible, nominees must be individuals or teams, not organizations, and must not have reached their 50th birthday by the close of the nomination period. Nominees cannot self-nominate.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Charles Bronfman Prize website.
Deadline: August 20, 2024 (Nominations)
