American College Health Foundation invites applications for TKoster’s Charitable Innovated Health Care Award

The American College Health Foundation aims to serve as the principal leadership organization for advancing the health of college students and campus communities through advocacy, education, and research.

The foundation invites applications for its TKoster’s Charitable Innovated Health Care Award, established by Teresa Koster to provide financial support to student health centers and their staff for developing innovative practices that improve access to quality health care for students. A grant of $3,500 will be awarded to help fund the development of creative solutions to access issues specifically related to understanding students’ healthcare needs and perspectives; assessing students’ knowledge of available health services and their appropriate utilization; strengthening methods of healthcare delivery, including the development of community and public health strategies that reach out to populations at risk; strengthening the use of technology to integrate health service delivery with an educational system focused on appropriate utilization of health services and improved health status; and creating innovative strategies that support student’s access to needed healthcare services.

Only campus health professionals who are individual members of the American College Health Association or employed at an ACHA Member Institution are eligible to apply.

For complete program guidelines, application instructions, and information about previous recipients, see the American College Health Foundation website.

Deadline: February 1, 2024
