Character Counts! Week

Character Counts! Week set for Oct. 21-27
National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week is a big event! More than three million young people are expected to celebrate in communities across the nation October 21-27.
The week provides a great opportunity to celebrate good character in your community. Neighborhoods and schools hold assemblies, stage parades, host essay contests? all to galvanize citizens around their most important year-round task ? teaching young people the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
National CHARACTER COUNTS! Week has been proclaimed every year by every president since 1994!
