Character Counts! is sponsoring a teen video contest promoting the importance of one of the Six Pillars of Character — trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, or citizenship. The contest will award a first place prize of $500, a second place prize of $300 and a third place prize of $200. Winners will also be highlighted on the Character Counts! website, the organization’s YouTube page and in newsletters reaching more than 150,000 subscribers!
Completed videos (30 to 120 seconds) should be uploaded to a video sharing website such as YouTube, TeacherTube or JumpCut. Entrants should email the link to their video along with their names, contact information, school, city and state as well as a valid email address to Character Counts! at [email protected].
