“Changing Hunger’s Face”
The Greater Philadelphia Food Bank will host this conference on Saturday, March 15 from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s University. It is open to representatives of non-profit feeding organizations in Southeastern PA. Workshop topics include Money-Getting Grant-Writing, Managing & Keeping Volunteers, and Government Resources. Information will be provided on a new senior commodity program, as well as best practices for emergency food cupboards, community kitchens, seniors programs, and youth programs.
