Discussion features making change across borders
How do ideas travel across national borders to change people’s lives?
On September 18th, the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians, Peace Day Philly, the South Asian American Digital Archive, and the Free Library of Philadelphia will sponsor an evening of discussion and storytelling called Changemakers Across Borders, which will highlight little-known stories of transnational change-making in the United States and beyond, with a specific focus on peace.
Speakers will include Samip Mallick of SAADA and the Reverend David Brown.
The event is free and will take place from 5:30-8pm at the Central Free Library, 1901 Vine Street in Philadelphia. For more information, go here.
