CFED Microbusiness Financial Capability Call for Solutions
Posted by CFED on June 30, 2014
CFED will collect and vet the submitted ideas, products and services in partnership with our Advisory Network of funders, investors, developers and advocates seeking to build the financial capability of microbusiness owners. Up to 10 standout submissions will be selected, recognized, and offered a free trip to Washington, DC from September 17-19, 2014 to take part in a special design thinking intensive at CFED’s Assets Learning Conference. Most importantly, selected submissions will receive priority consideration for the next phase of this project: we’re launching an initiative this fall that will pair subgrant support (up to $25,000 per recipient depending on the number of selected partners, to be delivered in January 2015) and technical assistance to assess the appeal, feasibility, performance and, ultimately, scalability, of solutions designed to improve the financial well-being of microbusiness owners. The most promising solutions will be refined (or designed) to position them for greater scale or replication and partners will receive targeted technical assistance from CFED and other experts along the way.
SUBMIT YOUR SOLUTION BY FRIDAY, JULY 25!
