The Center for Black Educator Development is hiring high school students, college-aged individuals, and educators to work in our Philadelphia and virtual 2026 Freedom Schools Literacy Academy (FSLA) summer programming!
The Freedom Schools Literacy Academy is a 5-week summer program offered virtually and in Philadelphia to provide college-aged individuals and high school students with opportunities to explore and deepen their interest in education. Our FSLA programming also provides rising 1st-3rd grade scholars an opportunity to boost their literacy skills, strengthen academic confidence, and experience the joyfulness of having their racial identity centered and affirmed!
The deadline to apply is March 1, 2026, 11:59 PM.
