Celebrate Black History Month with the Free Library
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on February 6, 2024
Celebrate Black History Month with the Free Library of Philadelphia. Join us during Black History Month as we celebrate the rich heritage, culture, and achievements of African Americans. Explore our diverse collection, and attend events that entertain and inspire!
The Free Library is proud to commemorate Black History Month through programs and resources for all ages at locations around the city. In addition to over 100 events filling the calendar this month, we’re excited to celebrate with a new exhibition at the Parkway Central Library. The In-Between Spaces, on view now, explores the vessels and tides of the collective aesthetic memory of Blackness through mediums such as film, photography, collage, bookmaking, and more.
