Posted by Drexel University on June 7, 2022
Programs for West Philadelphia entrepreneurs and small business owners include: B Smart, which leverages Drexel faculty’s and community partner organizations’ expertise to build small business capacity and provide access to capital; the Business Idea Group (BIG) [1] which meets monthly for business owners to network; business coaching to refine budding business concepts; and Quickbooks classes for entrepreneurs, business owners, and freelancers. Together, these programs form a continuum of services that reached 64 small businesses owners last year, 20 of whom participated in more than one program. The VISTA will help create/strengthen opportunities for low-income individuals to develop workforce knowledge and skills that will meet the needs of employers.
Accepting applications until June 24, 2022.
