You are all welcome to join us for a virtual symposium, Introduction to Immigrant Detention, hosted by the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee & Emigrant Services (CARES) at the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. This panel on immigration detention focuses on the current conditions of confinement and strategies to advocate for detained immigrants. This session is part of the CARES Syposium, Immigrant Justice: Victories and Visions.
This inaugural CARES symposium will bring together the legal, faith and University communities for an inaugural symposium focused on fighting for immigrant justice. Speakers representing diverse communities will share effective, replicable strategies and sustaining visions for supporting our national and immigrant communities in, and beyond, this election year.
