Careers in Election Administration Webinar for Students – Apr 29
Posted by Civic Nation on March 24, 2026
Are you a student interested in a career as an election administrator, or a campus leader who knows someone who might be?
Election administrators ensure that infrastructure and processes are in place for our elections to run smoothly from registering to vote and receiving absentee ballots, to training poll workers and counting votes along with so much more. According to a report from Issue One, in the years since the 2020 election, roughly 50 percent of top local election officials across 11 western states have left their jobs. Young people can play a vital role by becoming the next generation of election administrators. Multiple career paths exist at the local, state, and national levels to support election administration.
Join our webinar on Wednesday, April 29, at 2 PM ET, where we’ll share resources to support temporary job opportunities through the 2026 election, key advice for pursuing careers in election administration, and hear from early career election administrators at the local and state level.
