SEPTA WILL BE SPONSORING A CAREER FAIR ON MONDAY, AUGUST 12
FROM 11AM – 4PM
UNIVERSITY SQUARE, SAMUEL I. OSHIVER HALL
3901 MARKET STREET in West Philadelphia
The Fair will be sponsored by SEPTA’s Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization Department for the EL: SEPTA@Work Market Street Elevated Reconstruction Project.
Over 35 employers will be participating, including SEPTA Transit Police; Bayada Nurses; Manpower, Inc.; District Council 21; Pathmark,; Amtrak; Big George’s Stop N Dine, UPS; Philadelphia Police Department; Brinks Armored Security and more……
Most of these are entry-level positions for folks 18 years and older.
Ms. Ruth Knox of the West Philadelphia Partnership, the Contact Person for this Fair (215-386-5757) suggests (encourages) Job Seekers to come dressed for success: minimize jewelry; women should wear skirt/dress with stockings & appropriate shoes; men should wear shirt & tie; BRING RESUMES.
