The top skill set needed is the ability to develop genuine relationships with alumni/students in a limited timeframe; in particular alumni are not regularly scheduled in the building so proactive outreach in an engaging manner is needed. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (exceptional candidates with an Associate’s degree and significant experience may be considered) and at least three years of related professional experience in college access, career services, transition services, youth workforce development and/or postsecondary education preparation as well as preference for experience working with opportunity youth.
