GenPhilly forum focused on job security in aging America
Generation Appreciation Philadelphia will present Career Boom: Job Security in an Aging America, a forum on employing seniors in companies and nonprofits, on Wednesday, April 13th at Temple University’s Mitten Hall, 1913 N. Broad Street, Room 250, from 5:30-7:30pm.
Philadelphia has the highest proportion of people over 60 out of the ten largest cities in the United States, and GenPhilly believes that from community development, to the arts, housing, city planning, and more, each profession has the opportunity to touch the lives of older people and help our city become a lifelong community.
At this event, participants will learn about organizations that incorporate seniors into their programs, policy, and planning, and discuss how to include the needs of the older population into their projects and programs.
