Capital & Capacity for Economic Recovery
Nonprofit Finance Fund is pleased to introduce a new program: Capital & Capacity for Economic Recovery. Through this program we will offer capacity building services and small grants to nonprofit organizations in Southeastern Pennsylvania that are working to improve economic conditions for their clients and communities.

Program Overview
This program is funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. It was created through funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Strengthening Communities Fund Nonprofit Capacity Building Program.

Purpose
NFF is administering the Capital & Capacity for Economic Recovery (CCER) program in order to build the capacity of organizations that address economic recovery issues present in the five-county Philadelphia area, including helping low-income individuals to: secure and retain employment, earn higher wages, obtain better-quality jobs, and gain greater access to state and Federal benefits and tax credits.

Through the CCER program, NFF will award capacity building grants, ranging in size from $15,000 to $30,000, to nonprofit organizations located in the five-county Philadelphia area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties). Recipients of grant funding will also engage with NFF in comprehensive capacity building and training. All capacity building services are free.
