National Environmental Education Foundation Invites Applications for Capacity-Building Program
The National Environmental Education Foundation encourages Americans to enjoy, protect, and maintain public lands through public engagement, professional development, and partnerships.
To that end, the foundation, in partnership with Toyota Motor Sales, USA, is inviting proposals for its Every Day Capacity Building Program. Through the annual program, grants of up to $5,000 will be provided to nonprofit organizations to help boost their capacity to support, promote, and help maintain public lands.
To be eligible, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) community-based nonprofit (or have a fiscal sponsor) that has been in existence at least two years and whose mission is focused on improving a public land site in the United States and encouraging the responsible use of those site (including federal, state, regional, county, city, or other local public land area).
Visit the NEEF website for complete program guidelines, an FAQ, and application instructions.
DEADLINE: MAY 2, 2016
