Penn State Brandywine, located in Media, Pennsylvania, is seeking applications for the position of Campus Registrar. The Campus Registrar has the following duties and responsibilities: support the academic services and functions of the campus in cooperation with the campus faculty and administration and the Office of the University Registrar. Develop and publish the schedule of classes and final exam schedule by providing a point of review for problems and ensuring resolution before publication. Provide data in support of day-to-day operations including reviewing and approving requests for change of assignment, withdrawals, leaves of absence; reviewing and processing exception petitions; maintaining and distributing official enrollment data; developing and supervising data generation; supervising graduation activities; maintaining liaison with appropriate University offices; and meeting with students, parents, faculty, and staff to share information, answer questions, and resolve problems. Provide data analysis in support of academic and administrative decisions. Assist campus leaders in interpreting, communicating, and implementing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with University, State, and Federal policies and procedures related to student records, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Supervise the Records Specialist. Oversee student academic actions and facilitate communications and relationships between administrative and academic units. Work with others to improve administrative information security and protect Penn State data. The successful candidate will have a history of commitment to customer service, evidence of experience collaborating with faculty and staff, and familiarity with contemporary software used to support Registrar functions. As the leader of a two-person team located in a multifunctional space, leadership and collaboration are essential.
