Campus Philly: New Internship Playbook
Posted by Campus Philly on October 13, 2026
With most Greater Philadelphia college students saying they want to stay in the region after graduation, Campus Philly is calling on employers to help turn that interest into long-term talent retention.
Campus Philly has released a new Internship Playbook designed to help employers build stronger internship programs and connect emerging talent to careers in the region.
Campus Philly research shows that approximately 50% of graduates remain in Greater Philadelphia after completing their degrees, while 77% of current students say they hope to stay. Internships can help close that gap by giving students meaningful work experience while building professional relationships that make it easier to envision a future in the region.
The Internship Playbook is designed for employers who want to build an internship program from scratch or revamp their existing one. We present clear, actionable steps to help employers operate a successful internship program — one that adds value to the organization, helps build a talent pipeline, and positions their organization as an employer of choice.
