Heartland Conference, October 29-30, 2015 in Kansas City, MO.
This annual conference will bring together individuals from across the nation to explore different perspectives on higher education community/civic engagement alongside colleagues from Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Oklahoma. It will provide an opportunity for engagement professionals and community partners to share program models, best practices, and network with one another. Hosted at the Embassy Suites Plaza Hotel, the event will feature Dr. Bauback Yeganeh, an educator and practitioner in mindfulness and intentional leadership and Dr. Matt Hartley, a practitioner and thought leader in civic engagement.
