Posted by Campus Compact on April 23, 2019
The Community Engagement Professional Credentialing Program will launch on Thursday, April 25. Two micro-credentials will be available to earn: Community Engagement Fundamentals and Community Partnerships. Learn more at credential.compact.org.
The Community Engagement Professional Credentialing Program, developed and supported by leaders in the field, will provide civic and community engagement professionals opportunities to gain recognition for knowledge and skills they develop throughout their careers. It will also provide opportunities to engage in ongoing professional development activities that foster reflective, inclusive, and equity-focused partnerships and commitments.
Professionals will be able to earn a variety of microcredentials by submitting evidence that they have achieved competency in that area. Ultimately, the Community Engagement Certification will be made up of 14 micro-credentials.
