Camp Counselor, Woodrock Summer Camp
Posted by on May 27, 2005
Woodrock has suddenly found itself in need of a college-aged (or older) male counselor for its summer camp this summer.
Camp runs for three weeks at the end of June and beginning of July, plus a week of training. The exact dates are as follows:
Training:
Monday 6/13 to Friday 6/17 (day time only)
Sleepaway Leadership camp for high school students:
Monday 6/20 to Friday 6/24, and
Monday 6/27 to Friday 7/1
Sleepaway regular camp for 8-12 year olds:
Tuesday 7/5 to Saturday 7/9
Camp will be run out of the Woodrock Training Center in Sanatoga, PA (near Pottstown, about an hour from Philadelphia). Transportation, lodging and food will be provided, and counselors will be paid $300 for the training week and $400 for each of the camp weeks (= $1500 total for the four weeks). Counselors will stay with campers in cabins and assist in teaching of activities throughout the day. The staff is dynamic, competent and a ton of fun, the programming is sophisticated, and the pay is good.
Please spread the word and contact me or Christel Aviles at (215) 231-9810 for more information or if you know anyone who is interested.
Thanks,
Talia
