Call for Workshops: Building Prosperity for Working Families

The National Community Tax Coalition, a project of the Center for Economic Progress (Center), announces a Call for Workshop Presentations for its 6th Biennial Conference ?Building Prosperity for Working Families?. The 2007 ?Building Prosperity for Working Families? conference will take place in Denver, Colorado on October 1st and 2nd, 2007 at the Adams Mark Hotel. The Conference will consist of two days of training, learning, networking, and shaping the direction of the community-based tax preparation and asset-building fields. The conference will feature a set of core subject areas as well as specialty tracks, with both seeking to enhance attendees? ability to increase economic opportunities for working families. The conference is expected to draw 500 attendees from across the nation representing the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Initial workshop presentation proposals are due no later than Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
