Call for Workshops: 2013 MAX Annual Conference

Posted by on October 01, 2012

MAX is excited to announce that plans are under way for the 2013 MAX Annual Conference.  This will mark the 8th annual MAX conference.  This year’s theme is “MAXimizing your Potential: The Power Of Many.”  This theme focuses the collective power of people working together towards a common goal.  This opens the door for a wide variety of workshops    This is an opportunity for you and your staff to expand presentation skills while sharing some things that you are doing at your organization. Presentations are 75 minutes after the keynote in the morning or one of 2 sessions after lunch on both days.   We are interested in topics related to Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities, or Professional Development.  If you have a topic that may require longer than 75 minutes, please consider putting in a proposal to reflect a part1 and part 2 and, if your proposal is accepted,  we can give you a morning and afternoon presentation slot on the same day.

It is only through the rich and varied expertise of the MAX membership that the conference is successful in providing opportunities to network and share good ideas and state of the art services.  We encourage you to submit a proposal to present something that is happening at your organization and share that innovative idea with your MAX colleagues.

Please attach a copy of your resume/bio with the proposal.  Completed proposals must be returned no later than November 1November 10, 2012, by mail to: MAX 625 West Ridge Pike Building E Suite 208, Conchohoken, Pa 19428 or by email to Dconway@maxassociation.org.  You can obtain the request for proposals from Dconway@maxassociation.org.
