Call for Speakers: TEDxPhiladelphia: Unintended Consequences
Posted by TEDx Philadelphia on August 13, 2018
TedX Philadelphia to return in May of 2019
The TEDxPhiladelphia conference is back on Wednesday, May 15, 2019!
Unintended Consequences is the 2019 conference theme. The moment that we recognize the impact of an unintended consequence, the story, formerly hidden, unfolds before us. Ideas that arise from unintended consequences are deeply personal. An unintended consequence forces us to reassess our assumptions and challenge our narratives.
Speaker nominations for the 2019 conference will be accepted through Sunday, September 30, 2018 at midnight. Use this form to suggest a speaker or nominate yourself.

Remember, this conference is not about experts, it’s about ideas. Selection emphasis will be placed on the idea and how it is relevant to the theme. We are not just looking for do-gooders. If a speaker makes our audience uncomfortable because of their idea, or challenges them to reconsider a position, that’s a good thing.
Interested in sponsoring or partnering? We’re seeking financial supporters, in-kind partners, media/promotional partners, and more to partner in a variety of ways for the 2018/2019 season. Email us at [email protected].
TEDxPhiladelphia brings communities in Greater Philadelphia together to spark conversation and connection around ideas to improve our city for everyone. For more details about the event, visit here.
