The William & Mary Active Citizens Conference

Educating, Uniting, and Inspiring Active Citizens

February 21, 2015 Williamsburg, VA

Call for proposals for the William and Mary Active Citizens Conference. Join students, staff, faculty, and community leaders presenting about the best practices for impacting community and mobilizing social change.

The conference theme is Uniting for Collective Community Change.

With our theme in mind, workshops should fit into one or more of the following categories:

  • Coming Together: How do we effectively bring groups together to partner with community?
  • The Voice of Community: How do we come to understand the communities we work with and how do we learn from each other?
  • Creating and Measuring Change: What challenges and successes have we faced, and how do we know we are having a positive impact?

Conference proposal deadline is January 9th. Submit your proposal here.

For more information and conference registration, visit the conference website.
