Call for Proposals
Deadline: January 15, 2003
UNIVERSITY EFFORTS TO ENCOURAGE SMART GROWTH
Concerns about sprawl, traffic congestion, and loss of open space have risen to the top of community concerns. In response, universities and colleges are beginning to use their abilities to address growth issues and provide innovative solutions for communities. The Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning with support from EPA’s Smart Growth Program and the Lincoln Institute for Land Policy, has issued a Request for Proposals to profile university efforts to encourage smart growth. Selected proposals will advance for preparation as case studies, and they will appear in a book to be published by the Lincoln Institute.
