Call for Proposals: Teaching Professor Technology Conference
The Teaching Professor and Magna Publications are excited to announce the inaugural Teaching Professor Technology Conference coming to Atlanta, Georgia, October 4-6, 2013. This new conference serves as the perfect complement to our annual Teaching Professor Conference held each spring, while giving faculty a dedicated forum for learning proven methods for integrating technology into the teaching and learning process.
We invite you to submit a proposal for The Teaching Professor Technology Conference and share your expertise at a conference of your peers. The theme for the 2013 conference is Blended, Flipped & Massive. Submissions should relate to one of the following topical areas, however compelling proposals that fall outside of these designated topics are welcome:
- Blended or Flipped Courses
- Online Learning
- Technology in Face-to-Face Courses
- MOOCs
- Social Media, Mobile Learning and Apps
We’re looking for engaging and informative presentations that provide attendees with real-world solutions grounded in sound pedagogical theory. Sessions will available in two formats: 30-minute Best Practice Presentations and 75-minute Active Learning Workshops. Proposals may be targeted toward faculty with beginning, intermediate or advanced understanding of the topic.
Deadline for entry is March 1, 2013 with notifications of acceptance to be sent by May 1, 2013.
