Ninth International Research Conference on Service-Learning and Community Engagement Call for Proposals – Deadline: March 6, 2009
The 2009 conference will be held October 9th to 12th at the Westin Ottawa hotel in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The theme of the conference is “Research for What? Making Inquiry Matter.” This conference will address the goals underlying the research on service-learning and community engagement, the most effective means of achieving them, and the implications of such goals for a wide range of constituencies. The contributions of a variety of research approaches will be emphasized. The conference brings together scholars and practitioners to discuss research topics in the study of service-learning and community engagement.
