National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education (NCORE) 18th Annual Conference
Dates: May 31 to June 4, 2005
Place: New York City, New York

– Complete proposals must be received by February 4, 2005
– Notification of acceptance will be sent by March 14, 2005
The conference aims to:
– Assist higher education institutions to create inclusive higher education environments, programs, and curriculum; improve campus racial and ethnic relations; and expand opportunities for educational access and success by culturally diverse, traditionally underrepresented populations
– Provide policy, planning, programmatic, curricular/pedagogic, research/assessment, training, and theoretical perspectives from around the country
– Highlight exemplary working models and approaches capable of being adapted in other institutional settings
– Attract more than 1,800 persons each year representing virtually every state and several foreign countries
