Call for Proposals: Place-Based Justice Network SUMMER INSTITUTE – Jun 7

Posted by Place-Based Justice Network on May 21, 2024

The Place-Based Justice Network Summer Institute will be held at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA on Monday, July 22nd (beginning at 11:30 am PST) to Wednesday, July 24th (4:00 pm PST). The institute welcomes colleagues from campuses and communities across the network to learn together, share knowledge, hold space, discuss our unique and shared challenges, and strategize how to move the work of anti-oppressive, place-based engagement forward.

Register here.

The Summer Institute is one of our Network’s most impactful programs, where we provide time, space, and community to address our sector’s most pressing challenges and abundant opportunities. This year, after several years of online and hybrid gatherings, we are convening in-person in Spokane, Washington to respond to the urgency of the moment. As we move toward realizing our values, we invite participants to examine the ways in which we “show up” and “accompany” both our community partners and one another.

Have something relevant you’d like to share? Submit a session proposal today.

DEADLINE: June 7, 2024
