Service-learning is justice in action. It’s young people taking notice of inequities where they see them, and taking steps to address them. It’s educators joining in partnership with students, to make education fair and meaningful for all. It’s problems that need solving – solved by those least likely to be asked to solve them, but to whom those solutions matter most.
This is what the National Service-Learning Conference is all about. Young or young at heart, the conference will inspire you to make a difference in the world. Join hundreds of students, educators, policymakers, and nonprofit professionals in 100+ workshop sessions for resources, ideas, and support to take action. Hear from inspiring keynote speakers. Make an impact throughout a Day of Service. And more.
What’s happening in education?
Our conference-goers are on the leading edge of national trends. Be it the latest tech, exciting civic learning opportunities, or new ways to address the Achievement Gap, service-learners are charting a path for educators and students to follow.
What excites you about service-learning? Let everyone know by presenting a workshop or showcase at the conference. The call for workshop proposals is open until Friday, October 27.
