About the Conference. The educational system is a vital part of any community. Not only does it help provide a qualified workforce, but it also helps foster a creative and engaged citizenry. There are many different school reform models, some national in scope and some home grown. This conference does not focus on any one specific model, but instead hopes to have presentations and research on some of the various different types of school reform models. This should allow attendees to get feedback from folks who are involved with these different reform models to help inform their own decisions. This conference will draw together:
* K-12 educators and counselors,
* University faculty and researchers,
* State coordinators, policy makers and evaluators,
* Educational administrators,
* Staff from youth-serving agencies
