Call for Proposals: Green Philly Symposium
Posted by Green Philly on August 4, 2020
Green Philly is hosting its FIRST virtual symposium on Friday, September 25th discussing practices and methods to make Philadelphia a more sustainable city through our businesses, community, and impact.
Green Philly has an audience of those starting a sustainability journey to those seasoned greenies who want to enhance their learning. Its readers are highly 25-45, college-educated, identify 60% female / 40% male, and located in the Philadelphia region (including NJ, suburbs & DE.). Audience membership is a range of sustainability professionals, individuals with an interest in sustainability, or work for non-profits/city government and there will be tracks for each of those types.
Sessions can be a beginner lesson (how to go zero waste. What is the Green New Deal, and how does it apply to Philly?) to deeper understandings (Why is recycling broken? Case studies of how businesses are implementing a carbon-free goal?) of sustainability.
