Call for Proposals for PACAC Annual Conference
Posted by on November 4, 2005
It is hard to believe, but the time has come to plan for the 2006 PACAC Annual Conference, June 18-20, 2006 at The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The Sessions Subcommittee is working diligently to ensure that the conference offers stimulating sessions for both new and seasoned counselors on both sides of the admissions process.
We invite you to complete a proposal form at http://www.pacac.org/conferences/SessionProposalForm06.pdf and submit it for consideration by the committee by November 15th. Please feel free to email, fax or snail-mail proposals to me (contact information listed below). You will be notified of the status of your proposal by December 15th. AV requests forms will follow for accepted proposals.
This year, the Sessions Subcommittee is interested in continuing to increase the participation of friends and colleagues from other S & R’s. In addition, we continue our quest of increasing the involvement of secondary school counselors at the conference, increasing the diversity of our membership, and fostering a membership that is informed and committed to current NACAC and PACAC directives. We hope that several of our sessions will reflect these goals.
