Call for Proposals: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Presentations – Aug 31
Posted by Community College of Philadelphia on August 16, 2022
Community College of Philadelphia’s division of Business & Technology is currently seeking proposals for seminars, workshops, and facilitated conversations centered around topics of Diversity, Equity and/or Inclusion for students. Attendance at these events will be open to the general student population and events will be a part of the Business & Technology DEI Co-Curricular Student Programming for the 2022-2023 academic year.
A student’s understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion and its benefits to their future career is imperative. The division of Business & Technology’s co-curricular diversity, equity and inclusion certificate program exists to educate and equip students to be effective in community, work, and school environments; successfully engaging individuals of diverse cultures, ethnicities, genders, and abilities. Additionally, through this programming, students will grasp an understanding of the importance of diversity, cultural inclusion, and race equity within business and technology fields. This includes technological innovations and general business leadership practices and operations.
Have a topic you would like to cover, expertise in DEI, and are interested in submitting a proposal? Complete this survey form. Please also feel free to share with your networks!
All proposals must be submitted by August 31, 2022 in order to be considered for presentations during the fall 2022 semester and by October 31, 2022 for the spring 2023 semester.
