Call for Proposals: Black Men in Education Convening – Jun 27

Presented by The Center for Black Educator Development, the 8th annual National Black Men in Education Convening (#BMEC2025) will take place in Philadelphia, PA, November 20 – 22, 2025, at the Loews Hotel!
We are looking for engaging guests and presenters for this year’s Black Men in Education Convening (BMEC)!
If you’re a dynamic speaker with compelling stories, research, or art to share, we invite you to submit a proposal by June 27, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. Use our online submission portal to submit your proposal, and if accepted, you’ll get a discounted early bird rate. Remember, each presenter can submit only one proposal but might be asked to participate in multiple sessions. Ensure one person is the primary contact if you’re presenting with others. Acceptance notifications will be sent via email by August 8th, 2025.
