Call for Proposals and Registration: Compact26 – Submit by Oct 10

Posted by Campus Compact on July 29, 2025

Hope isn’t just possible in this moment; it’s essential, and it can be found in the heart of our campuses, communities, and students.

At Compact26, we come together around our shared belief that higher education’s greatest strength lies in its capacity to serve the public good. Join us as we explore ways to turn our hopes into realities through intentional action, shared storytelling, collaborative partnerships, and compassionate connection—so that we may collectively navigate the challenges of the moment and deepen our commitment to higher education’s public mission.

Campus Compact is now accepting proposals for the Compact26 conference. We seek proposals that explore our theme: Hope Found Here: Advancing Civic and Community Engagement through Compassion, Action & Unity

Compact26 sessions should balance learning and exchange, represent a variety of perspectives, and meaningfully contribute to racial justice, equity, and inclusion goals. We are particularly interested in proposals that explore the following key topic areas:

  • Addressing systemic inequities and wicked societal problems
  • Authentic campus-community partnerships
  • Bridge building, dialogue & discourse to support an engaged democracy
  • Centering mental health, belonging, and well-being
  • Civic learning and student success strategies
  • Infrastructure & support for community engagement
  • Storytelling, assessment & impact
  • Student-led, student-driven engagement and leadership

Proposals due October 10, 2025.
