The Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI) invites you to submit presentation proposals for the 5th Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum in Miami, Fl on June 9-11, 2010.

CFSI is currently building the agenda and sessions for the 2010 Underbanked Financial Services Forum and is seeking dynamic proposals with real world experiences to share. All proposals should provide key knowledge sharing opportunities for session attendees and not have previously been delivered elsewhere. CFSI invites you to submit an abstract by October 2, 2009 containing the following:

-Title
-Description – limited to two paragraphs
-Specific examples of what audience members will learn and can utilize to transform their underbanked consumer practices/services

CFSI will select submissions relevant to the Underbanked Forum topics that expand the dialogue and breadth of knowledge regarding underbanked consumers.  CFSI will also review submissions for opportunities to be matched with other presentation submissions in panel or joint presentations.  Selected speakers will receive an email by December 3, 2009 with the results of the selection process.

Important Dates

December 3, 2009: Notification of Acceptance
May 1, 2010: Final PowerPoint Presentation Due
June 9-11, 2010: 5th Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum

When submitting abstracts, authors should consider the general conference program, which will be organized around the following topics:

-Deposits
-Payments
-Credit
-Consumer communications

Within these topic areas conference attendees are interested in learning about:

-The products and pathways to mainstream products
-The marketing and distribution of the products
-The risk management and underwriting that support the products
