Call for Proposals: 2024 AAC&U Conference on Global Learning – May 17
Posted by American Association of Colleges and Universities on April 16, 2024
***Deadline extended to May 17***
Global learning is essential to students’ future success in work, life, and citizenship. Yet, as we make that case on and beyond our campuses, are we speaking with one voice?
The 2024 AAC&U Conference on Global Learning will survey the full range of global learning activities, programs, strategies, and approaches used today by educators worldwide, considering them in light of the origins of global learning. By connecting past knowledge with the present context, in the spirit of Sankofa (“go back and get it”), we’ll emerge from the conference empowered to speak with a unified voice about a future-oriented global learning that is centered on reciprocity, inclusion, multiple perspectives, collective well-being, and local and global connection.
AAC&U invites proposals for conference sessions that prepare faculty, staff, and administrators to advance understanding and practice by fully integrating global learning into the educational experiences of all students at institutions of all types.
Conference Tracks:
- Inclusive and Equitable Global Learning
- Global Engagement for Career and Future Readiness
- Civic Engagement and Community Engaged Learning in Global Contexts
- Elevating and Integrating Virtual Exchange and Collaborative Online International Learning
- Innovation and Emerging Trends in Global Learning
- Professional Development for Global Learning
- Making the Case for Global Learning
The submission deadline is Friday, May 10, 2024.
