Call for Proposals: 2023 Green Philly Virtual Symposium Session
Posted by Green Philly on January 17, 2023
We’re back! Green Philly is hosting our third annual virtual symposium in March 2023 discussing practices and methods to make Philadelphia a more sustainable city through our businesses, community, and impact. Please submit your ideas for a session below!
Green Philly has an audience of those starting a sustainability journey to those seasoned greenies who want to enhance their learning. Our readers are highly 25-45, college-educated, identify 60% female / 40% male, and located in the Philadelphia region (including NJ, suburbs & DE.) Audience members is a range of sustainability professionals, individuals with an interest in sustainability, or work for non-profits/city government and we’ll have tracks for each of those types.
Sessions can be a beginner lesson (how to go zero waste. What is the Green New Deal, and how does it apply to Philly?) to deeper understandings (Why is recycling broken? Case studies of how businesses are implementing a carbon-free goal?) of sustainability. We’d love to see sessions around water and GSI.
